Recurring House Cleaning
Weekly, every two weeks or monthly visits that follow the same checklist each time.
More about recurring house cleaningStratford, Ontario
Regular or one-time cleaning for Stratford homes, done from a written checklist that you help write. The price for each visit is settled before your first clean, so there's no clock ticking while we work.

Fill in the short form and tell us a little about the house. Here's what happens next:
Ask around in Stratford and you'll hear the same story more than once. Someone finds a cleaner, the first few visits are great, and then things slide. The bathroom gets a quick wipe instead of a scrub. A visit gets cancelled the night before. Eventually the cleaner stops answering texts, and the search starts all over again.
We built this service to be the opposite of that. Before the first visit we sit down (or talk on the phone) and write out what you want done in each room. That list goes on your file and comes with your cleaner every time. The price is agreed per visit, so a slow day on our end never becomes a bigger bill on yours. And because most of our clients are on a regular schedule, we plan our weeks around keeping those visits steady. More about move-in & move-out cleaningShort-term rentals reset between guests: beds, bathrooms, kitchen and floors.
More about rental turnover cleaningFine dust cleared from every ledge, vent and cabinet once the trades have gone.
More about after-renovation cleaningYour own checklist can move things around. If you'd rather we skip the guest room and spend the time on the kitchen, that's what goes on the list.

Visit one is the reset. We get into the corners, the baseboards, the soap scum on the shower door and the grease on the range hood. This is where most of the buildup comes out, so it takes the most time.
Every visit after that is the keep-up. Same checklist, same order, less time, because there's no months-old grime to fight. That's how a flat price per visit stays fair for both of us.
Most new clients book a deep clean as their first visit, or we price the first regular visit a little higher to cover the reset. Either way, you'll know before we start.
Your price depends on your home, not on how fast someone happens to work that day. These are the things that set it:
These ranges are drawn from what Stratford-area cleaners list on HomeStars and from published local price guides. They're estimates, not our rates. We'll give you a firm price for your own home before booking. Price My Clean
Your list, room by room, agreed at the start and kept on file so every visit matches the last.
One number per visit, settled before the first clean. No surprise hours on the invoice.
We aim to send the same cleaner, or the same small team, to your home whenever the schedule allows.
Going away or hosting family? Tell us ahead of time and we'll skip or move the visit.
We're insured, every cleaner is background checked, and if something gets missed we come back to fix it.
A lot of Stratford's housing has a few decades, or a century, behind it. Those houses are lovely to live in and fussy to clean. There are tall baseboards and detailed trim that catch dust along every ridge, banisters with spindles, cast-iron radiators, original hardwood that doesn't want to be soaked, and staircases too narrow for a big vacuum. Bathrooms in older houses often have small hex tile with a lot of grout.
We slow down for all of that. Old wood floors get a barely damp mop, not a wet one. Trim and spindles are wiped by hand. Radiators get a brush between the fins. If something in your home is delicate, tell us and it goes on the checklist. For a house that hasn't had a proper going-over in a while, start with a deep house cleaning.
We clean all over Stratford, from long-established streets in the Bedford ward to the newer subdivisions up Romeo Street and the townhouses out toward Vivian Line. We also go out to the towns around the city, mostly within about 50 km: St. Marys and Exeter to the south-west, Mitchell, Seaforth and Listowel to the north, Sebringville and Shakespeare on either side of town, and Tavistock and New Hamburg to the south-east.
Local cleaners commonly charge somewhere around $25 to $50 an hour, and more for deep or post-renovation work. We quote a flat price per visit instead, based on the size of your home, how often we come and anything extra on your list.
A regular clean keeps a home in good shape: kitchen, bathrooms, dusting and floors. A deep clean goes after buildup too, like baseboards, door frames, vents and the things that get missed for months. Many people start with a deep clean and then switch to regular visits.
No. Plenty of clients are at work while we clean. We note how to get in, how to lock up and where the pets will be, and we follow those notes every time.
Yes, every cleaner brings supplies and equipment with them. If there are products you like, or ones we should avoid, we'll note that on your checklist.
Stratford is a city of a little over 33,000 people, and its homes cover a lot of ground. Close to the core there are brick houses and older frame homes, plenty of them with original wood and plaster. Further out the streets fill with mid-century bungalows and split-levels, and around the edges are the newer neighbourhoods: open-plan main floors, big kitchen islands, two or three bathrooms and finished basements. Each of those homes takes a different kind of cleaning, which is why every new client gets their own checklist instead of a standard script.
The households are just as mixed. There are families with two jobs and young kids, people who've lived in the same house for forty years and want help keeping it up, and newcomers who moved here for a bit more space and a bit less traffic. There are also hosts who rent out rooms or whole homes to visitors who come for the theatre. What they all want from a cleaner is pretty much the same: show up when you said you would, do the list properly, and don't make them chase you.
That's the whole idea behind House Cleaning Stratford. If it sounds like what you've been looking for, ask for a price or call +1 (226) 564-1031.
